I graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Computer Science in 1984. I then received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University in 1991. I completed an APA-approved child-clinical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina and a post-doctoral fellowship at the Durham Community Guidance Clinic. Since that time, I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, taught and supervised graduate and internship students, conducted workshops, and participated in research.
