Since 2006, I have provided high quality psychoeducational assessments and psychotherapy to triangle area families.  Understanding the impact of attention/learning differences, anxiety or depression on performance and self-esteem is the first step toward better psychological health.  As individuals are faced with normal developmental challenges (e.g., entering middle school, college, the workforce), they may be less able to compensate on their own.  Their struggles may put stress on the entire family.  Other, less predictable stressors (e.g., divorce, cancer, death of a loved one) can lead to difficulties coping.  By improving coping skills and obtaining accommodations, individuals can experience more success with academic/career goals and improved psychological health.
